This week was a hard lesson in breaking up and letting go..

Bad news: External HD crashed, no backup.. lost 500 gigs of anime and manga and photos of my fleeting youth and 10 years of artwork. (luckily my newest TnZ stuff etc are saved elsewhere). (Not p[aying $2000.00 to resurrect it, and tried everything to rebuild it on my own).

Good news: Finally, in my attempt to rebuild my collection... someone subbing Otokojuku.

Oh dude, I'm so sorry...that happened to me a couple years back, but luckily I was able to replace nearly all of it. It's terrible to lose irreplaceable things to random equipment failures... Sad

(Maybe invest in a RAID setup? Though I don't know how much money you want to spend to prevent this from happening again.)

I wish that you didn't have to go through this. Sad

No big deal.. in my age.. I don't take things too seriously. In 10 years I'll consider good protection.. but since I lost the things I need to protect I dont have to stress over it : )

Uwa, that sucks. :( I'll have to make sure my own stuff is okay by the time it gets to that point. But this just means that you must draw more to make up for lost material! ;)

And OH MY GOD OTOKOJUKU! I hope they get up to the snow rats. XD
